Power Management

PowerControl

The MultiPlus acts as a powerful battery charger, intelligently managing power from your generator or shore supply. It draws current efficiently (approximately 10 A per 5 kVA Multi at 230 VAC) and allows you to set a maximum generator or shore current using the Multi Control Panel. This ensures that other AC loads are accounted for, preventing overloads and maintaining a stable power supply.

PowerAssist

Enhance your shore or generator power capacity with PowerAssist. This feature supplements your alternative power source by automatically drawing from the battery during peak demand periods. When the load decreases, excess power is used to recharge the battery, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted power delivery to critical onboard systems.

Monitor and control your MultiPlus through various interfaces including the Battery Monitor, Multi Control Panel, Color Control GX or other GX devices, smartphones, tablets (via Bluetooth Smart), laptops, or computers (USB or RS232).

Remote Monitoring and Control

Employ Color Control GX or similar GX devices to access real-time data stored and displayed on the free Victron Remote Management (VRM) website for convenient remote oversight.

Remote Configuring

With an Ethernet connection, manage your MultiPlus settings remotely using a Color Control GX or compatible GX device, ensuring optimal performance without the need for physical access.

Unlimited Power with Scalable Operation

Expand your power capabilities by operating up to six MultiPlus units in parallel. For instance, six 24/5000/120 units can deliver up to 25 kW / 30 kVA of output power with a robust 720 AMP charging capacity.

Additionally, configure three identical units for a three-phase output, and scale up to six sets of three units for an impressive 75 kW / 90 kVA inverter and over 2000 AMP charging capacity, perfect for large marine applications.
