Setup Instructions

Set Date and Time

1. Power on the DVR.
2. Press the Menu button on the key fob.
3. Press the Right button until you reach Set Date Time.
4. Press the OK button to begin.
5. Use the Up/Down buttons to set the correct date and time.
6. Press the OK button again to finish.

Operating the Recorder

Recording Video

When the DVR is in standby mode, press the Rec button on the key fob or the DVR unit to start recording video. Press the Rec button again to stop recording.

Taking Photos

When the DVR is in standby mode, press the Photo button on the key fob to capture a photo.

Playback of Videos and Photos

To view your recordings, ensure the DVR is in standby mode and press the Playback button on the key fob. The latest video or photo will be displayed. Follow the on-screen instructions to navigate through your recordings.

Remote Control Functions

• Playback/Right: Press to playback videos/photos or navigate right through menu items.
• Menu/OK: Press to access the menu or select menu items.
• Photo/Up: Press to take a photo or navigate up through menu items.
• Rec/Down: Press to start/stop video recording or navigate down through menu items.
• Record: Dedicated button to start and stop recording with a single press.

Connectivity

• Camera Connection: Easily connects to your Fish Scout camera or DTD controller box for seamless integration.
• Monitor Connection: Option to connect to an external monitor for real-time viewing of recordings.
