Tool-Free Maintenance

1. Drum Removal: Pull back the spring-loaded release latch and perform a slight anti-clockwise rotation to lift the self-tailing arm from the winch.
2. Reassembly: Place the drum back on the center stem and lock the self-tailing arm into one of eight positions with a satisfying click, ensuring secure engagement.

QuickTrim™ Self-Tailer

Available on the 30QT and 40QT Orbit Winches™, the patented QuickTrim™ feature revolutionizes sail trimming:

• Effortless Line Easing: Quickly and safely ease the line without removing the winch handle or disengaging the self-tailer.
• Controlled Operation: A slight anti-clockwise rotation of the self-tailing cover allows the self-tailer to function smoothly beneath it, maintaining grip and control.
• Automatic Locking: Once the desired adjustment is made, the top cover springs back into place, re-locking the self-tailer for normal operation.
