Innovative Power Ribs™ Technology

The Power Ribs™ on the Orbit Winch provide an exceptional grip, delivering multiple benefits for marine applications. Fewer wraps around the drum reduce the load on the self-tailer, while the design promotes smooth upward line movement, preventing riding turns. Additionally, the non-abrasive drum surface prolongs the lifespan of your running rigging and ensures smooth, controlled easing even under high loads.

Effortless Installation and Maintenance

The Orbit Winch 1 Speed is designed for maximum convenience. Full disassembly and reassembly can be performed without any tools. To remove the drum, simply pull back the spring-loaded release latch and perform a slight anti-clockwise rotation to lift the self-tailing arm from the winch. The drum can then be removed from the center stem. Reassembly is straightforward, with an audible click confirming the self-tailing arm is securely engaged with the bayonet notches on the center stem. The self-tailing arm can be locked in one of eight positions, each spaced at 45-degree increments, allowing for flexible configuration.
