Installation Guide

1. Plan Your Network: Determine the locations where your NG or NMEA 2000 devices will be installed to ensure the backbone cable is appropriately sized.
2. Run the Backbone Cable: Install the 30-foot backbone cable along the length of your boat, securing it as needed to maintain an organized setup.
3. Connect Devices: Use spur cables to connect individual devices to the backbone via T-pieces, ensuring each connection is secure and properly insulated.
4. Extend if Necessary: If additional length is required, join another backbone cable using the part A06030 Backbone Extender for a seamless network extension.
5. Test the Network: Once all connections are made, power up your devices to ensure data and power are being transmitted correctly through the backbone.
