With a 3mm thickened lower plate, the SkegGuard® can withstand damage from hidden rocks, debris, and accidental ramp dragging. Its precise design conforms to your lower unit, ensuring there is no noticeable drag or compromise in performance. Additionally, a strategically placed drain hole prevents water accumulation, reducing the risk of corrosion and freezing.

Easy Installation

Installing the Megaware SkegGuard® is straightforward and can be done with common tools in under 10 minutes. The self-locking hardware ensures a secure fit, providing years of reliable service. If you need to replace an already broken skeg, the SkegGuard® can be fitted with as little as 2 inches of remaining skeg, offering a stronger and more affordable alternative to welding and replacing the entire lower skeg.
