Installation Guide

Installing the Maretron Pressure Transducer is straightforward, ensuring secure and accurate pressure monitoring for your marine systems.

1. Prepare the Connection: Ensure that the monitored system or tank has a compatible 1/4 in. NPT female fitting.
2. Attach the Transducer: Screw the pressure transducer’s 1/4 in. NPT male threaded fitting into the female fitting on your system or tank.
3. Secure the Connection: Tighten the fitting to a maximum torque of 150 in-lbs (16.95 Nm) to prevent leaks and ensure stability.

Note: If your system is prone to pressure spikes or transients, or if the pressure may exceed the transducer’s maximum rating, it is advisable to install a Pressure Snubber (PT-SNUB-01) first. Attach the pressure snubber to the monitored system, then connect the pressure transducer to the female port on the snubber to protect the transducer from potential damage.
