Superior Quality and Durability

Built to withstand the harsh marine environment, our impellers provide long-lasting service, reducing the need for frequent replacements and ensuring your engine remains cool under all conditions.
Maintenance and Replacement
Regular Maintenance: Replace all impellers at least once a year, or sooner based on engine usage. Adhering to a preventive maintenance schedule helps avoid unexpected failures and keeps your engine running efficiently.
Easy Replacement Process:
- Remove the end cover screws of your pump.
- Use a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool or channel lock pliers to grip and remove the impeller hub. Avoid using screwdrivers to prevent damage to the pump body and potential leaks.
- Insert the new impeller, ensuring it is properly seated.
- Grease the new impeller for easier installation and added protection during initial priming.
- Replace the gasket and end cover to complete the installation.
Emergency Preparedness
Always carry spare impellers on board. The impeller is a critical component of your engine's cooling system, and having a backup ensures you can address any unexpected failures promptly, minimizing downtime and maintaining the safety of your vessel.
Installation Tips
Greasing the Impeller: Before installation, apply grease to the new impeller. This not only facilitates easier insertion into the pump bore but also provides added protection during the initial prime, ensuring a secure and leak-free fit.
After replacing the impeller, gasket, and end cover, your pump is ready to use, restoring your engine's cooling efficiency and reliability.
