Then, use a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool or channel lock pliers to grip and extract the impeller hub. Avoid using screwdrivers, as they can damage the pump body and cause leaks, and may pose safety hazards in confined spaces.

Greasing New Impellers: Always apply grease to new impellers before installation. This facilitates easier insertion into the pump bore and provides added protection during the initial priming phase. After replacing the gasket and securing the end cover, your pump is ready for use.
