Important Terms and Conditions
Effective December 17th, 2013, any unused prepaid minutes purchased over three years ago will begin to expire. Minutes purchased within the past three years remain available. For detailed terms on specific plans:
- Africa Plan: Valid only for calls originating in Africa to anywhere.
- Northern Lights Plan: Valid for calls originating in Alaska or Canada to Alaska, Canada, or the Continental US. Calls to other worldwide locations from Alaska or Canada are billed at $1.75 per minute.
- 200-LAT: Covers all of Latin America from Mexico to Cape Horn and up to 12 nautical miles from the coast, excluding the Caribbean.
- MENA Voucher: Offers 200 global prepaid minutes or 500 MENA zone minutes. Call GMPCS for the list of participating MENA countries.
You will receive an email notification when 75% of your airtime has been used, prompting you to contact GMPCS to top up your SIM card. To check your minute balance, dial or SMS the short code 2888. To add minutes, dial 8324.
All SIM cards are shipped active. If you choose not to load a prepaid voucher at activation, you must add airtime within 90 days to avoid deactivation. Unused minutes at the end of the validity period will be lost and cannot be reclaimed. For assistance, contact GMPCS Customer Care at +1-954-973-3100.
