Applications

Emergency Bilge Pumping

In the event of an emergency, simply close the seacock and remove the quick-release plug. This action allows the engine's raw water pump to expel excess bilge water overboard, ensuring your vessel remains safe and stable. For enhanced bilge management, consider adding a GROCO Bilge Strainer to pump out water from remote bilge locations effectively.

Winterization

Prepare your marine engine for winter by closing the seacock, removing the quick-release plug, and inserting the included service adaptor. This setup allows antifreeze to be easily pumped into the cooling system, protecting it from freezing temperatures and preventing potential damage during the off-season.

Cooling System Flushing

Maintain optimal engine performance by flushing the cooling system with dockside water. Close the seacock, insert the service adaptor, and run the engine at idle speed. This process removes any residual debris or buildup, ensuring your cooling system remains clean and efficient.
