The STRIKER 4 Fishfinder is equipped with Garmin’s innovative CHIRP (Compressed High-Intensity Radiated Pulse) sonar, operating at 77/200 kHz. Unlike traditional single-frequency transducers, CHIRP sends a continuous sweep of frequencies, providing a wider range of information and creating crisper fish arches with greater target separation.

For even more detailed sonar images, you can upgrade to high-performance CHIRP by selecting a GT8 or GT15 transducer (sold separately). This upgrade enhances target separation and resolution, making bottom contours more visible and suppressing signal noise at greater depths.
