Advanced CHIRP Technology

Traditional marine Fish Finders typically operate at single frequencies, such as 50 kHz and 200 kHz, utilizing short-duration transmit pulses with narrowband sonar transducers. In contrast, the B265LH employs CHIRP (Compressed High-Intensity Radar Pulse) technology, which sweeps across multiple frequencies within a long-duration transmit pulse using a broadband transducer. This method transmits 10 to 1,000 times more sound energy into the water compared to conventional systems.
