How It Works

The Euro Black Speedometer utilizes a pitot tube mechanism to accurately measure your boat's speed through water. The pitot tube captures water pressure, which is then transmitted through flexible tubing to the bourdon tube movement inside the speedometer head. This pressure is converted into a precise speed reading on the dial, allowing you to monitor your vessel's performance effectively.

Note: The pitot tube is sold separately.

Installation

Installing the Euro Black Speedometer is straightforward, allowing you to get back on the water quickly:

1. Choose a suitable location on your dashboard with a 4" hole size (85mm).
2. Mount the speedometer using the provided black aluminum bezel.
3. Connect the pitot tube to the gauge (pitot tube not included).
4. Wired for both 12V and 24V DC systems, adapt the wiring to match your boat's electrical setup.
5. Secure the anti-scratch glass lens to protect the dial from debris and UV damage.

Note: Gauge cover is not included.
