How It Works

The water temperature gauge operates by sending a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. As temperature changes, the sending unit's resistance varies, altering the current flow. This change in current causes the gauge's meter to deflect, accurately displaying the current water temperature.

Installation and Compatibility

Designed for ease of installation in marine environments, this water temperature gauge is compatible with 2" (53mm) hole sizes. It comes standard with a 12 VDC negative ground setup but can be adapted for 24 VDC systems, making it suitable for a variety of boat engines and electrical configurations.
