Installation & Operation

The Dress White Hourmeter is designed for straightforward installation into your marine vessel's dashboard. To operate, route power through a normally open oil pressure switch, which ensures that the hourmeter counts only when the engine is running. The hourmeter operates by applying battery voltage across the gauge's register motor to ground, with increments increasing when the key switch is on. This setup provides accurate tracking of engine usage hours.
