How It Works

The Chesapeake White SS Cylinder Head Temperature Gauge accurately monitors your engine’s temperature by sending a low amperage current through the gauge's meter. This current flows to the ground via a temperature-sensitive sending unit with variable resistance. As the engine temperature changes, the resistance of the sending unit varies accordingly, allowing the gauge to display real-time temperature readings between 60°F and 220°F.
