Installation & Operation

The Chesapeake Black Tachometer connects to your boat’s electrical system using three connections: +12VDC, Ground, and a signal source (ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender). Ensure you select the correct tachometer model and set the switch on the back to match the number of pulses per engine revolution for accurate readings.
