Installation Instructions

The Chesapeake Black Tachometer operates by counting electrical pulses generated by your boat's ignition system, alternator, tach signal generator, or magnetic pickup sender. To install:

1. Connect the tach to a +12VDC power source and Ground.
2. Attach it to one of the compatible signal input sources.
3. Select the appropriate tach model.
4. Set the switch on the back of the tach to correspond with the number of pulses per engine revolution.
