How It Works

The water pressure gauge operates by transmitting a low amperage current through the gauge's meter to the ground via a sending unit with variable resistance. Changes in pressure, temperature, and other factors cause the resistance of the sending unit to fluctuate. As the resistance varies, the current flowing to the ground changes, causing the meter to deflect and display the corresponding pressure changes accurately.
