How It Works

The hourmeter operates by applying battery voltage across the gauge's register motor to ground. The register increments when the key switch is on, ensuring accurate tracking of engine running hours. For precise measurement, route power through a normally open Oil Pressure switch to count only the hours when the engine is actively running.
