The patented flexing spring delivers a fast response and maintains a constant force, ensuring efficient vang performance. The Boomstrut’s lightweight, low-profile design incorporates two flexible coated fibreglass rods that support the boom. When the boom is pulled down using a conventional kicker, the Boomstrut flexes; releasing it straightens the rods to lift and support the boom effectively.

Installing the Boomstrut is straightforward with no need to replace existing hardware. It mounts independently inside the existing kicking strap tackle, allowing for a hassle-free upgrade. The mast fitting utilizes the existing luff groove, eliminating the need for drilling. Additionally, the boom bracket is contoured to fit both round and flat boom profiles, ensuring a secure fit.
