How It Works

The DDC-12/24V automatically monitors the voltage of your house battery. Once the voltage exceeds the set minimum threshold (typically 13.2V for a 12V system or 26.4V for a 24V system), the DDC-12/24V engages and delivers up to 30A of charge current to the start battery. This automatic engagement ensures that your starting battery remains charged without manual intervention.

In the absence of a charge source, the DDC-12/24V isolates the two battery banks, preventing the starting battery from being drained by the house battery. For increased charging needs, an optional solenoid control can be added to provide higher charging output to the start battery when necessary.
