Product Overview

The OLAS Extender effectively lengthens the 'virtual tether' between OLAS transmitters, such as the OLAS Tag and OLAS Float-On, and the OLAS Receiver, including OLAS Core and OLAS Guardian. This extension allows for a broader coverage area, ensuring that on vessels up to 80 feet, a lost transmitter triggers a loud audible alarm within 2 to 4 seconds, depending on the receiver in use. This quick alert system ensures that all synchronized receivers sound the alarm, promptly notifying the crew of an MOB situation.

Paired with the ACR OLAS Mobile App, the OLAS Extender not only provides audible alerts but also records the incident's GPS coordinates. This feature assists the crew in swiftly locating and recovering the person overboard by providing clear visual signals and bearing data directly to the MOB location.
