Reliable Man Overboard (MOB) Detection

The OLAS T2 automatically triggers an alarm if a crew member leaves the vessel or falls overboard. This immediate alert provides clear guidance to the remaining crew, facilitating a swift MOB recovery and enabling effective communication with emergency services. The T2 comes equipped with a silicone wrist strap and a safety-break neck lanyard with a silicone holder for versatile attachment options.

When paired with the OLAS Guardian or OLAS N2K, the T2 can activate the Smart Lock feature in the OLAS app to stop and lock the vessel’s engines, enhancing security and control.

Seamless Integration with OLAS Systems

OLAS T2 Tags are fully compatible with all OLAS receivers. If a tag loses connection with an OLAS receiver, the system alerts the crew within seconds, and the MOB rescue screen is activated on the OLAS app, ensuring prompt action.

Manage and monitor multiple tags effortlessly through the OLAS app. Track up to 6 OLAS T2 tags directly via the mobile app and up to 25 tags using OLAS receivers, including the Guardian or Core systems.

What It Does

Track with the OLAS Mobile Application

Within 8 seconds of a man overboard incident, the OLAS mobile app detects a break in the virtual tether to the tag. The app then sounds a loud alarm to alert the crew. OLAS guides the crew to the GPS location of the MOB with clear visual signals and bearing data, storing all necessary location and time information for rescue services.

Track with OLAS N2K, Guardian, or Core (Vessels up to 50ft)

Connect up to 15 OLAS transmitters (OLAS Tag or OLAS Float-On) or up to 25 OLAS T2 transmitters to any OLAS receiver. In the event of a connection break, the MOB alert activates within 2 seconds, immediately notifying the crew of the incident.

Powerful OLAS App Features for Enhanced Safety

The OLAS mobile app complements the T2 transmitter with advanced safety features:

Solo Mode

Ideal for boaters operating inshore or on vessels without offshore connectivity, Solo Mode enables automatic SOS messaging. In the event of a MOB, a distress SMS is sent to predefined emergency contacts, containing essential vessel information.

TrackBack and Last Seen Location

The OLAS app provides an easy-to-follow direction arrow and distance record to assist rescuers in returning to the MOB location. It also displays the latitude and longitude of the incident, facilitating effective coordination with rescue services or nearby vessels.

Automatic VHF Mayday Information

The app automatically generates a VHF script that includes the vessel's details and last known location, ensuring a precise Mayday call is made, increasing the likelihood of a swift rescue.

OLAS Smart Lock

The Smart Lock feature acts as a secondary key system, securing the vessel’s kill switch to prevent unauthorized use. Only Smart key holders or those with the Guardian’s access PIN can operate the system. Allocate any OLAS tag or Float-On as a Smart Key within the app. If a Smart Key is present, the Guardian automatically unlocks, whereas if absent, the app can unlock the Guardian using a custom access PIN code.
